Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born 2nd April 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is part of the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. The team was selected with the 5th pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2, 1997 to Yolanda Ogunbowale as well as Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother, and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years of age. The youngest sibling, she was the one who received the greatest attention from her parents. Gregory Ogunbowale's father served as a soldier in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale grew up in a bustling family. Her mother Yolanda played softball for DePaul as did her brother Dare. Dare is a football player. The cousin Endia Olive also plays volleyball on the field at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was listed on her school's Honour Roll for three years consecutively. In addition to her fame, she has received various awards from her studies. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located within her own hometown. When she was at school, she also participated in three years of varsity football. The skills of Ogunbowale led to amazing victories in her school. She has played in 73 appearances and accumulated 1,477 rebounds and 1,477 rebound in her career. Ogunbowale was awarded gold medals during the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2014. FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. She was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team 7 July 2014. Ogunbowale also has been named to the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first season as a collegiate player. The coach even thanked the legendary Kobe Bryant after she hit several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale's basketball career is starting off well and will keep going on the same path. Arike Ogunbowale's wealth is about $5 million according to a source. Even though she's a basketball player, Ogunbowale excels at other sports as well. She is a professional soccer player, and has won three State Cup championships with Lake County United Soccer Club as well as a State Cup victory with FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. She even studied piano for seven years.
