Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was required to switch schools. After that, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet and performed in school's productions. After dropping out at 16 she pursued an acting career. Taylor-Joy always knew her goal was to become an actor. This was achieved when Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management gave Taylor-Joy an opportunity to model.
