Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies, mostly in the martial arts or horror categories. Her style and method are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action flicks with a morbid fascination. She started reviewing late in 2009 and gained some recognition on the forums of Channel Awesome under the old username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010 she joined the Channel Awesome Family. She remained member of the channel up until January 2015 in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts through her channel both covering the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Seen here or here. You can find Allison on Tumblr as well as Twitter and Instagram. Are you bored of Allison? Ninja the Mission Force shows her acting playing Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also starred her. The shows she appeared on Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of terrible films for kids or RiffTrax, but also the odd adult comedy. The reviewer began her journey in late 2009, gaining popularity on channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the group of reviewers on Channel Awesome. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
